The mission of the Central Methodist Church in Launceston is to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ through worship, discipleship, evangelism and mission.' This mission is at the heart of all our physical and spiritual support of the community. Spiritual Support with Alpha Courses; ‘Connect Bible’ study evenings (follow up to alpha); Prayer Groups; Home Groups; Family services; JMA (Junior Mission for All) support; Varied forms of worship and music -Traditional to Contemporary & Ecumenical work with other churches in Launceston. Practical Support: Launceston Foodbank; Launceston Refugee Support Group; Two Weekly Coffee mornings; ‘Chattabox’ toddler group; Central Kids Club; An annual Biblically themed Holiday Club; Two weekly Fellowship Groups; Monthly Film Night ; Support of Action for Children, Christian Aid & Fairtrade.
